Fabric printing

I have been having a go at hand printing on fabric. Here are some examples of how i've got on so far....

The stamps are made from designs cut from rubber sheets approximately 2mm thick. I then roller the colour on. The foam is quite effective at holding the ink and enables you to be able to be quite flexible with your stamp designs.

After printed my fabric with one colour, I decided to add a second.

Once I have perfected my technique a little I'm going to have a go at making some things out of my hand made prints. Watch this space for more....

Lazy, sunny, sunday

I've had a pretty busy couple of weeks so my blogging activity has been almost non-existent of late, but this weekend I'm having a very much needed lazy weekend. I've even managed to have a play around with a little lino print I made a while back, turning it into two new leafy patterns.

Check out some more of my pattern creations here

In the spirit of mothers day, I thought it would be nice to show off these lovely spice pots made by my very talented mum. These are my most prized possessions, I absolutely love them and just thought it would be nice to share them with you.
